Vinaigrette Dressing
Ingredients:
- 6 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Pepper to taste
- 1 garlic clove
Instructions:
Combine vinegar (or lemon juice), olive oil, Dijon mustard, sugar, and pepper to taste. Mince one garlic clove (optional) and add to dressing. Shake well before using and enjoy.
Toum/Toumiya
Ingredients:
- 1 bulb of garlic
- 1 cup of olive oil (approximately)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp of salt
Instructions:
Peel 1 bulb of garlic and place cloves in a food processor. Blend until well minced. Add 1 cup of olive oil, the juice of 1 lemon, and 1 tsp of salt to the food processor. Blend the ingredients until they are well combined and the texture is that of a creamy paste. If it is too thick, add a little more oil until the desired consistency is reached. Refrigerate or freeze the mixture for up to 3 months and use whenever you like. Add a tablespoon of the toum to your sandwiches, wraps, marinades or use it as a dip or sauce with a variety of your favorite foods!

Fattoush Salad Dressing
Ingredients:
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tbsp of pomegranate molasses
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 tsp of sumac
- Optional: 1-2 cloves of finely minced raw garlic
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients together in a small bowl and mix well. Add to your favorite salad combinations and enjoy!
Fattoush salad dressing is traditionally added to fattoush salad which usually contains chopped tomatoes, lettuce, parsley, mint, cucumbers, bell pepper, radishes, green onion and is topped with crispy pita squares.
Make your own pita squares in an air fryer by cutting pitas into square shapes, mixing them with your favorite herbs/ spices and placing them in the air fryer for a few minutes.
